Hazard “not happy” with being constantly fouled

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted that he is “not happy” about being constantly fouled by opponents, according to a report on ESPN.

The Belgian’s close control dribbling and quick feet mean that he is regularly clipped and kicked by opposition players.

Hazard has started this season in fine form and has managed to find the back of the net seven times in the league so far.

The playmaker has been a key player for Chelsea for several seasons and he has helped new boss Maurizio Sarri make an unbeaten start to his reign at the club.

When speaking about being fouled, Hazard said:

I’m 27 now and I’m starting to get old, so I have to take more care of my body. I feel the wear and tear. I’ve been a pro for more than 10 years now.

It [being fouled] is part of the game, I think. I’m not happy [about being fouled so often], but it’s part of football.

The referee tries to do his job and I try to do my best. When I’m on the ground, I get free kicks and each time it’s a chance for Chelsea to score.

Hazard found it difficult to get going as the Blues drew 0-0 at Stamford Bridge against Everton on Sunday.
