La Liga giants Barcelona are not interested in signing in-form Chelsea defender David Luiz, according to a report on the Express, who quote Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
The centre-back has recently been linked with a move to the Catalan club but it is understood that they have no interest in taking him to the Nou Camp.
Luiz is one of Maurizio Sarri’s favourite Chelsea players and he had cemented his starting position alongside Antonio Rudiger in defence this season.
The Brazilian has spoken highly of Sarri on many occasions this season and has praised him for the way he has helped the team to perform this term.
The Blues are still undefeated in the Premier League and sit just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
Barcelona’s arch-rivals Real Madrid have also been impressed with the form of Luiz and have been linked with a move.
Sarri’s men will go up against BATE Borisov in the Europa League tomorrow evening.
