Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has been ruled out of the Europa League match against BATE Borisov on Thursday with a back problem, according to a report on Sky Sports.
The Belgian has been in phenomenal form for Maurizio Sarri’s side this season but will not play any part in Thursday’s Europa League group stage match.

In the pre-match press conference, Sarri said:
He’s out. He’s got a back problem. We’re trying to solve the problem for Sunday.
Hazard was the subject of some strong challenges from Manchester United players last weekend in the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard has netted seven times in the league this season but couldn’t get going against the Red Devils.
The Blues travel to Turf Moor on Sunday to face Burnley and Sarri will be eager to have Hazard available for that match.
