Chelsea are poised to fight Liverpool for the signature of Porto’s Alex Telles, the Express reports.

Jurgen Klopp will also be keen to improve his squad as they hope to pose a real threat for the Premier League title next year.
According to reports from Portugal both Liverpool and Chelsea are on the hunt for a new left-back.
Correio Da Manha report that both sides have been monitoring Telles since the January transfer window.
Newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers, managed by former Porto boss Nuno Espirito, are also said to be interested in the defender’s signature.
The 25-year-old has a £35million release clause in his contract but Porto are desperate to keep hold of the player who was a key part in their title success this season.
Porto have reportedly already been lining up options to replace Telles.
