Juventus’ Pogba assessing his options

Juventus Midfielder Paul Pogba has rejected the idea of joining Chelsea in the summer, according to the Metro.

Despite rumours of Juventus boss Max Allegri agreeing to join the Blues, it seems as though the French midfielder has set his eyes on a move to Spain and will ignore any move from Chelsea.

Chelsea are willing to pay £61 million for the 22 year old but reports suggest that Real Madrid, Barcelona and even Manchester City are all willing to trump the Londoners offer as Juventus are looking to hold out for £73 million.

Pogba is considered one of the hottest properties in world football and it comes as no surprise that the Europe’s powerhouses are all chasing the midfielder.

Despite having played for Manchester United in his youth, the arrival of Pep Guardiola at the end of the season has seemingly opened up Manchester City as an option for Pogba, who has made over 100 appearances for The Old Lady.

With an impending transfer ban, Real Madrid had become favourites to win the race for French international’s signature despite Barcelona often being linked.

Considering the poor form of Nemanja Matic and the age of John Obi Mikel and Cesc Fabregas, it should come as no surprise to Chelsea fan to hear that Paul Pogba is being considered as a replacement.
