Dastan Satpayev has given Chelsea supporters a fresh marker in his move from Kairat, with the Kazakh forward receiving a formal farewell before heading towards London this summer.
The Astana Times reported that Kairat honoured the 17-year-old before his final appearance against Kyzylzhar on 17 June.
The club marked the occasion with a commemorative shirt and a stadium banner, closing his Kairat chapter before his move to Chelsea.
Qazinform also reported that Satpayev scored twice in his farewell match as Kairat beat Kyzylzhar 3-0.
That gives the story a stronger Chelsea edge.
