Chelsea have been linked with a move for impressive playmaker Marco Asensio for some time now.
The youngster is one of the most coveted young players in world football right now, but according to Spanish reports, he is growing increasingly frustrated with his lack of regular game time at Real Madrid.
Asensio has proven over the course of the last two seasons that he has ability and maturity in abundance, as exemplified by some massively impressive displays for Zinedine Zidane’s side.
However, if Diario Gol (via the Express) are to be believed, Asensio is weighing up his options as game time continues to be limited at the Bernabeu.
It seems that the Blues want Asensio at Stamford Bridge at some point, but this could be made harder or easier by Real’s desire to land Eden Hazard.
It’s been claimed previously that Chelsea will only negotiate the Belgian’s move to the Bernabeu if Asensio is included in any deal. However, with Chelsea understandably keen to retain Hazard’s services, a pursuit of Asensio could be tricky.
Liverpool are also said to have been alerted by the Spaniard’s discontent at Real.
