Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic is believed to be keen on extending his stay with Atalanta next season, according to Corriere dello Sport, relayed in an article by Sport Witness.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed an impressive stint on loan in Italy this season, helping the Serie A side qualify for Champions League football next year.
Pasalic featured in 42 games for Atalanta, scoring on eight occasions, with his last strike coming in Gian Piero Gasperini’s sides final league game against Sassuolo.

His impressive form has resulted in the midfielder being tipped for a Chelsea return next season, especially due to the Blues’ looming two-window transfer ban.
However, the Croatia international is keen on staying in Italy with Atalanta after his successful loan spell, with Chelsea now preparing themselves for an approach from Atalanta.
Chelsea may have to rely on players who have been plying their trade out on loan in recent years, however, it appears as if Pasalic won’t be one of them.
