Two Chelsea youngsters have been given the opportunity to train with the England first team ahead of their friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
Jay DaSilva, currently on loan at Charlton Athletic, and Jake Clarke-Salter were both handed the opportunity to train with Gareth Southgate’s main team.
Southgate’s team has been riddled with injury problems going into the friendlies. Chelsea’s own Gary Cahill has not trained ahead of the friendly against Germany, whilst many other players have withdrawn from the squad.

The pair are both part of the England youth setup, with Jake Clarke-Salter being a member of Aidy Boothroyd’s U21 team and Jay DaSilva a member of the u20s setup.
DaSilva has been ever present for Charlton this season, recently playing in their FA cup victory over Truro City at the Valley.
