Chelsea are said to be deprived of striking options at the moment with just Michy Batshuayi available as Alvaro Morata’s backup with Diego Costa on his way to Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window.
The Blues were tracking Hamburg starlet Jann-Fiete Arp and are believed to have submitted a lucrative offer to sign the teenager during the summer transfer window, but a deal was not agreed and now they face some fresh competition for his signature.
German source Bild, as cited by Sport Witness, claim that Chelsea have been joined by fellow Premier League outfits Arsenal and Tottenham in the race to sign Arp, while Serie A giants Juventus are also keen.

The 17-year-old striker is contracted to the Bundesliga club until June 2019 and scored 28 goals in 25 games for Hamburg’s youth sides last season, before scoring seven times at the European Under-17 Championships earlier this year.
Last month, Arp became the first player born in the 21 century to score a Bundesliga goal when he netted in a 2-1 defeat to Hertha Berlin as his stock continues to rise.
Chelsea remain interested in the striker but competition from Arsenal, Tottenham and Juventus make securing the teenager’s signature even harder.
