Three points to start the season can only mean one thing: a new episode of the Carefree Blues Podcast, co-hosted by myself and Amadi Thiam. It was our first episode in the third season of the show.
In this marathon of an episode, we discussed the match against West Ham in great detail – including explaining what N’Golo Kante brings to this team, how Eden Hazard’s shielding ability deserves to go on an instructional tape and Antonio Conte’s passion on the touchline.
We also dish out players ratings for the men in blue. A few listener questions prompted our first impressions on Conte. We also discussed the transfer window and who we’d like to see join the squad before briefly previewing Saturday’s match against Watford.
