Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic has the chance to impress Graham Potter at the World Cup.
That is according to journalist Pete O’Rourke who has informed GIVEMESPORT of Pulisic’s latest opportunity to push on in his career.
The journalist believes that the upcoming World Cup could be crucial in showing both potential suitors and his current manager “what he can bring to the table.”
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, O’Rourke said: “If he does seek a move away and Chelsea are willing to let him go, I’m sure there’ll be no shortage of takers for Christian Pulisic.
“And the World Cup will offer a great opportunity for Pulisic to not just impress potential suitors but also to impress Graham Potter as well and show what he can bring to the table.”
Crunch time for Pulisic
USA skipper Pulisic is stuck between a rock and a hard place at Chelsea.
The 24-year-old is full of untapped potential but has never really been given a sufficient amount of time to fulfil that promise in SW6.
Nineteen starts in the league is the most he’s ever managed in his three full seasons for Chelsea and he will have a hard time reaching that total in this campaign, having started just two games this season.
After scoring against Wolves earlier this month, the former Borussia Dortmund star was not even involved in the following games against AC Milan and Aston Villa, making two cameo appearances across the next two games, before starting once more in the Champions League clash against Salzburg.
Last night’s clash saw him deliver once again, registering an assist for Kai Havertz’s goal in the 2-1 win.
A run of games on the World stage could do wonders for Pulisic’s career, with the winter period spelling out crunch time for the €35million (£30m) forward, who will need to ponder his immediate future.
