The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has claimed the Italy international could follow Maurizio Sarri to his next club.
The 28-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge from Napoli in the summer of 2018 and has since made 75 Premier League appearances, scoring nine goals.
Earlier this year, speculation arose over the future of the Italian midfielder, who was linked with a switch to Juventus, where Sarri had been in charge.
Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has reignited the speculation by suggesting the midfielder could follow the manager who brought him to England whenever he finds a new job.
Sarri left Turin in August and is currently without a club, but Santos told Calciomercato that he and Jorginho could link up again, saying: ”Jorginho has a personal and professional bond with the coach that is very strong. We’re waiting to see where Sarri goes, and if it’s a big club in Italy, Jorginho could follow him.”
Despite the desire to work under a coach who he has already followed from club-to-club once before, Santos believes Jorginho remains happy for now with Chelsea, insisting that: ”He’s very happy with Frank Lampard, the new signings have entered well. Chelsea can do even better than last season.”
The agent went one step further and suggested that, had his former boss remained in charge at the Old Lady, Jorginho could be back in Serie A, saying: ”If Maurizio Sarri had remained, perhaps he’d have joined Juventus.”
Sarri enjoyed a mixed tenure with the Blues after implementing his own ‘Sarriball’ style of play which did not go down well with some supporters, although he left on a high by lifting the Europa League, his first trophy in professional management.

Jorginho has been a success since arriving at Chelsea, not flashy, far from eccentric, but a consistent performer who until recently had scored all his penalties for the Blues.
However, with the influx of new players in the squad, himself and Mateo Kovacic have found themselves battling for a position which, in truth, may not even be between just the two of them.
Despite the requirements for strength in depth, this season more than ever, Jorginho has seen limited game-time in recent weeks, which may be enough to warrant the midfielder to seek pastures new should the trend continue.
