Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is reportedly set to give the go-ahead to a potential move to Inter, with the two clubs set to meet soon to discuss a potential fee.
In a report quoted by Sempre Inter, the French striker has been told to look elsewhere by France boss Didier Deschamps ahead of Euro 2020 next summer.

Giroud has been given limited opportunities under Frank Lampard, with Tammy Abraham leading the scoring charts for the Blues meaning that Giroud has been left out in the cold.
Inter and Chelsea are set to meet soon to discuss terms, with Giroud being seen as the ideal backup for Romelu Lukaku.
€7 million could be the fee for Giroud, with Inter also set to take over his bumper deal at Chelsea.

Giroud’s time at Chelsea looks to be over, meaning that this deal could be the best move for both parties.
Getting Giroud off the wage bill, and also acquiring some more cash for transfers, could be a big boost for Chelsea, especially if their ban is overturned.
