Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has opened up on his relationship with Frank Lampard.
The Blues boss took charge of another pre-season friendly on Friday but failed to lead his new team to a victory, as they fell short to Kawasaki Frontale late in the day.
Brazilian forward Leandro Damiao netted in the 88th minute for the Japanese outfit to consign Chelsea to a surprise defeat.
Pulisic spoke to reporters following the 1-0 loss and was quizzed about how he has found working under the management of Lampard following his appointment at the club.

As quoted by ESPN, the USMNT international said:
It’s been great. Obviously, I grew up watching him and having him here, giving me pointers and helping the team is awesome to have him around and it’s nice to have a guy we can really relate to, so it’s been great so far.
Pulisic was signed last January in a big-money deal from Borussia Dortmund before being loaned back to the Bundesliga club for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
However, he is set to play a big part in Lampard’s plans for the upcoming season, with Eden Hazard having left for Real Madrid earlier in the summer transfer window.
