Frank Lampard has finally been confirmed as the new Chelsea manager and will now get to work at Stamford Bridge after leaving Derby County.
With Chelsea about to enter a two-window transfer ban, Lampard will have to look closer to home to find new talent and it is fair to say he will not be short of options as he aims to rejuvenate the current Blues squad.
Chelsea sent out over 40 players on loan last season and their famous ‘loan army’ could come in use to Lampard and his staff over the coming weeks.
With the club simply unable to sign any players this summer, there will be an added emphasis on bringing through the next generation of players at Stamford Bridge.
