Bayern Munich have completed the double signing of Chelsea teenage prospects Jamal Musiala and Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi.
The Bundesliga club reached an agreement with the Blues that will see the duo, both 16-years old, join their youth academy in Bavaria.
Musiala will join Miroslav Klose’s Under-17s side, which Arrey-Mbi will study under the tutelage of Martin Demichelis and Danny Schwarz for the club’s Under-19s side.
The duo are the first players to come through Chelsea’s academy to be eyed up by the German giants, with the Bundesliga champions still keen on bringing Callum Hudson-Odoi, 18, to the Allianz Arena.
Unlike Hudson-Odoi, Musiala and Arrey-Mbi failed to make a senior appearance for the club, which isn’t a large surprise given their still very young age.
Musiala and Arrey-Mbi were with Chelsea’s academy system for eight and five years respectively.
