With Maurizio Sarri gone to Juventus, Chelsea are in need of a new manager and Derby County’s Frank Lampard is being tipped for the job.
It was reported by Sky Sports that Derby County have given Lampard permission to talk to Chelsea about the current vacant managerial position.
Lampard led a young Derby side to the Championship play-off final in which they narrowly lost to 2-1 to Aston Villa. The 41-year-old did a tremendous job last season considering it was his first season as a manager and the number of young players he implemented into his style.

Chelsea legend John Terry seems to be happy with the rumours as he commented three blue hearts underneath the Sky Sports Instagram post that reported the Lampard news.
Terry and Lampard were teammates for many years but were rivals during the Championship play-off final. Lampard is dearly loved by the Chelsea fans and would be welcomed like no other.
