Sarri not given the warmest of welcomes by Juventus fans

After weeks of speculation, reports on the Daily Mail imply that Maurizio Sarri has informed bosses at Chelsea that he is making the move from Stamford Bridge to the Allianz Stadium.

Bosses at Chelsea have no problem with this and are willing to let Sarri leave provided Juventus pay £5 million compensation.

However, Sarri is not getting the welcome he would have thought he would get back on home soil. Juventus fans have shown their disappointment at the fact they were not able to secure Pep Guardiola’s services – a manager who they were hoping would be signing a three-year deal.

Juventus fans have made it very clear that they are not pleased with Massimiliano Allegri’s potential successor and have taken to Twitter to show their outrage.

“#SarriOut” was trending on Twitter in Italy following the speculation of Sarri’s takeover and many fans have tweeted their thoughts on the situation. One was unhappy about the fact that someone who was abusive to Juventus fans for three years whilst at Napoli would be in charge of their team.

It’s fair to say that Sarri hasn’t had a warm welcome and he will have to do all he can to get the fans back on his side if he is going to be the new manager.
