The future of the Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be close to being resolved within the next 48 hours, according to Calcio Mercato, as cited on Inside Futbol.
Sarri made the Champions League places with Chelsea by achieving an impressive third-place in his first season in charge of the club and following that up by winning the Europa League with a 4-1 win over rivals Arsenal.
Blues fans have been split in whether or not they want the Italian to remain in charge next season.
With Sarri’s agents set to hold talks with the Chelsea hierarchy this week, the Turin club Juventus will be eagerly waiting after missing out on first choice Pep Guardiola.
The Old Lady are said to have prepared a three-year contract worth around £6.2 million per season should Sarri leave.
Whether or not Sarri replaces Allegri back in Italy, a move he is apparently keen to make, will all depend on how discussions go with the Chelsea man.
It is being suggested that he is also not against the idea of staying with the Blues for another year.
