Tammy Abraham has revealed that he feels ready to be the main striker for Chelsea next season after playing a key role in helping Aston Villa return to the Premier League.
Abraham scored 26 goals for Dean Smith’s side this season, and netted the winning penalty for Villa in their play-off semi-final against West Brom to send his side through to the play-off final against Derby.
And following Villa’s victory over the Rams on Monday, Abraham revealed that he is ready to commit everything to Chelsea next season following his successful loan spell, according to the Evening Standard.
I am still young, I am still improving. The aim is to be at the highest level and playing the best football, and if Chelsea say they need me there, I will put 100 per cent in.
Every player wants to start. Obviously, it is always difficult at a club like Chelsea because they have got world-class players. But, for me, it is about believing in myself and just keeping doing what I do. I do believe in myself, so wherever I am I believe I will score goals.
