Chelsea officials demanding £100m for Eden Hazard

Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia is demanding £100m from Real Madrid in the Spaniard’s pursuit of Eden Hazard, according to the Daily Star.

The Belgian international, who has been with Chelsea since 2012, is reportedly considering handing in a transfer request with talks between the two clubs stalling.

The report suggests that the Blues have already rejected two offers from Los Blancos which have been way below their £100m valuation.

Hazard’s current Chelsea contract expires in 2020, so the Blues face losing the player for nothing next summer if they refuse to sell the attacker in the upcoming window.

However, according to the report, Chelsea chief Granovskaia will refuse to back down from the £100m valuation due to the clubs possible two-window transfer ban.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed one of his best individual seasons at Stamford Bridge this season, with the forward scoring 16 times and providing 15 assists in his 36 Premier League outings.

But with Granovskaia refusing to budge under £100m, Real Madrid boss  Zinedine Zidane may have to wait even longer to work with one of Europe’s best players.
