Chelsea have had a really inconsistent season and the introduction of ‘Sarri-ball’ into English football has not been the smoothest.
Sarri has not won over all Blues fans in his first year. He has gone through periods where that has been talk of him being sacked, but he has got through them and remains at the club going into the final stages of the season.
On paper, Chelsea have had a solid season. They sit fourth in the Premier League table, got to the final of the League Cup and are in the semi-finals of the Europa League.
The last few weeks of the season will really define Chelsea’s season. They will at the very least want to get into the Champions League places in order to attract some of the best players in the world to the club this summer.
There has been a lot of talk that Eden Hazard may leave with a long-rumored move to Real Madrid finally coming to fruition.
