Charly Musonda keen on second Vitesse Arnhem spell

Out of favour Chelsea winger Charly Musonda is looking to return to Vitesse Arnhem on loan next season.

The 22-year-old has made a handful of first-team appearances at Stamford Bridge in recent years, however, the wide man has had to stake his claim out on loan at Celtic and Real Betis since arriving from Anderlecht back in 2012.

The Belgian was once again loaned out this season in search of regular game time with Dutch side Vitesse, however, a serious knee injury has kept Musonda out of action for the majority of the campaign.

Despite not making an appearance for the club, Musonda, talking to HLN, relayed in an article via Sport Witness, revealed he is hoping to head back to Vitesse.

I want [to be loaned to Vitesse again next year]. The agreement hasn’t been finalised yet, but that’s my wish.

Musonda’s future Chelsea career could potentially be decided on his performances next season, and it appears he will be heading back to the Erdevisie once again in a bid to impress Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
