Chelsea youngster Tariq Lamptey could be offered to Nice as part of a deal to sign £35m-rated Youcef Atal.
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move to sign the Algerian this week, but a deal was swiftly played down by Nice boss Patrick Vieira.
However, it now emerges that Nice themselves are big admires of Lamptey and have him on their radar ahead of the summer transfer window, as reported by Football Insider.
Lamptey could be signed as a long-term replacement for Atal, should he leave the Ligue 1 outfit this summer.
While Lamptey is highly rated at Stamford Bridge, the right-back spot is a position that the club clearly want to strengthen over the summer.
