Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are all interested in RB Leipzig’s recruitment specialist Paul Mitchell, according to a report on Sky Sports.
The three clubs want to make Mitchell their new sporting director but it is understood that the Bundesliga club has no intention of letting him leave.
Mitchell used to be the head of recruitment for Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur and is one of the world’s best recruitment specialists.
All three English clubs could be left disappointed as Leipzig have offered Mitchell a new deal, which would make him the club’s head of global football until 2025.
The 38-year-old has been credited for finding world-class talents like Sadio Mane, Dusan Tadic, Dele Alli and Toby Alderweireld.
Julian Nagelsmann will become the new Leipzig manager in the summer and he has made it clear that he wants Mitchell with him at the club.
