Higuain rates Hazard as “one of the best”

Gonzalo Higuain has sung Eden Hazard’s praises following the Belgian’s standout performance against West Ham on Monday evening, stating the winger is one of the best players in the world.

Hazard scored both of Chelsea’s goals in the 2-0 victory over Manuel Pellegrini’s side, including a wonderful contender for goal of the season, as the Blues moved up to third in the Premier League.

The Belgian is enjoying his best season in a Chelsea shirt thus far, with his brace against the Hammers taking his goal tally for the season up to 19 in all competitions, with the winger also creating 12 assists.

And Higuain has hailed the talents of his teammate, whom he described as world class, Sky Sports report via ESPN.

He is one of the best [in the world]. It is obvious that, when he is at this level, he gives you points, he gives you goals and the truth is that it is a great asset to have him with us.

Hazard has been strenuously linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks, with Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane reportedly keen on signing the 28-year-old.

And former Madrid man Higuain believes it will be hard for anyone to persuade the Belgian to stay at Chelsea this summer, given his desire to play for the La Liga giants.

What can I tell you? Those are things that involve the club executives and the desire of the player. When a player has a desire, it is difficult to change his mind.
