Atletico Madrid are eyeing up a summer swoop for Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi.
According to Calcio Mercato, Atletico have their eye on Icardi as they prepare for life after Antoine Griezmann.
The report claims that they will make a move for Icardi if the French forward, Griezmann, leaves the club in the summer.
Calcio Mercato claim that Icardi will be free to leave Inter in the summer, after he was stripped of the captaincy due to off-field reasons earlier this season.
Icardi has been heavily linked to Chelsea over the last few transfer windows, but the club have recently been hit with a two transfer window ban.
Chelsea have an appeal this month, which will dictate whether or not they will be able to sign players in the upcoming transfer window. This means that they may yet be able to make a move for Icardi, if they decide to rival Atletico.
