Chelsea Predicted XI: Brighton and Hove Albion (H)

Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to be handed his first Premier League start on Wednesday night, as Chelsea look to increase the pressure on Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the race for a top-four finish.

Brighton and Hove Albion offer Maurizio Sarri the chance to quickly build upon Sunday’s controversial and uninspiring victory away at Cardiff with a more emphatic team performance that will hopefully reinvigorate the hearts and minds of disenfranchised fans calling for his head.

With an FA Cup semi-final waiting in the wings for the Seagulls, you could be mistaken for thinking their priorities lay in securing three points against a team who have beaten them in all seven of their previous meetings.

Chris Hughton will almost certainly rest key members of his squad for the trip to Stamford Bridge, while Chelsea meanwhile will most likely revert to their strongest team.

The stark contrast in approach or potential lack of from each manager will be highly indicative of the result.

Here is how we expect the Blues to line up.
