Chelsea “will not sell” Hudson-Odoi this summer

Chelsea insist they will not be selling Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer, according to the Times.

The 18-year-old has been tipped to move away from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, after rejecting a new deal at the club.

Bayern Munich were strongly linked with signing him back in January, but a move couldn’t get over the line.

The German giants are planning another bid for him in the summer, as are Manchester United.

Chelsea have reportedly told Hudson-Odoi that he will not be allowed to leave, even if he continues to decide against signing a new contract.

The player is still “adamant” that he wants a fresh challenge, having struggled for first-team opportunities this season.

Should he stay for one more season, however, he will then be able to leave on a free transfer in the summer of 2020, when his deal expires.

That means this could be the last chance for Chelsea to earn a significant sum for Hudson-Odoi, but that doesn’t appear to be of any interest to them.
