Chelsea have reportedly made fresh contact with former Manchester United defender Laurent Blanc in case they need to replace Maurizio Sarri.
According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, Blanc was one of the candidates for Chelsea in the summer and the Blues have now made their interest known once again.
The Blues may need to act quickly if Chelsea’s form does not improve under Sarri.

As they have done previously, the Blues are likely to make a short-term appoint until the summer if they do replace Sarri.
Blanc has been out of the game since leaving Paris Saint-Germain and has recently expressed his desire to return to management.
He had two years in charge of the French national team before his time with the Ligue 1 giants, while he also managed Bordeaux earlier in his career.
It does not appear that a sack is imminent for Sarri, but reports have claimed he is facing a decisive couple of weeks in London.
