Danny Drinkwater was a surprise inclusion as Chelsea confirmed their Europa League squad for the second half of the season.
As reported by football.london, Chelsea have revealed their squad list in full as they prepare to face Malmo in their first knockout round.
Drinkwater has been shunned from the Chelsea first-team squad completely this season but looks like he has been offered a lifeline at Stamford Bridge.

Sarri has previously confirmed that he told the player he was not part of his plans, but after failing to sign a central midfielder during the January transfer window, there could well be hope for him in London.
The Italian head coach identified the need to sign a replacement for Cesc Fabregas, with the club now having no recognised replacement for Jorginho, the role that the Spaniard had previously been filling.
Fabregas was also one of Chelsea’s homegrown players in the squad and Drinkwater now fills that void too.
