Bristol City have confirmed their decision to recall youngster Antoine Semenyo from his loan spell at Newport County.
The Championship side announced that the player has returned to the club via their official website, as he continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea.
Semenyo has attracted interest from the Premier League side, with reports suggesting a bid in the region of £1 million has been lodged by Maurizio Sarri’s men.

It remains to be seen what this means for his immediate future at Bristol City, but after impressing on loan at Newport, he could be braced for some first-team action at Ashton Gate.
With speculation rising about Semenyo’s future, Lee Johnson could look to give him a run in the first-team squad in a last-minute bid to convince him to stay at the Championship side.
Manchester United are also believed to be in the running to sign the young striker and Premier League interest could be hard for him to turn down.
