Chelsea are holding out for a big offer from Everton for Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Blues are waiting to see if Marco Silva’s side will step up their interest in the striker this month.
Batshuayi has agreed a deal to join Monaco for the second half of the season, but Chelsea are not opposed to cashing in on the player.
Everton are known admirers of the striker and are looking to add to their firepower this month, but with Chelsea asking for a reported £40 million, they may look elsewhere.

Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has already revealed that the striker could well join the Ligue 1 strugglers and they will be hoping that Everton decide against a permanent move for Batshuayi, with Chelsea holding up a deal.
Batshuayi? We have an agreement with the player and with Valencia but not with Chelsea. They want a permanent transfer. Everything could go very quickly in football so we’ll see.
Despite Chelsea’s struggles this season, Batshuayi is not part of Maurizio Sarri’s plans and with the impending arrival of Gonzalo Higuain, he is only going to be further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
