Chelsea are willing to spend £50m on Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson if their attempts to sign Gonzalo Higuain fail, according to a report on Sky Sports.
The Blues have been linked with a move for Wilson for a few months now but the Cherries have made it clear that they are not prepared to let their star forward leave this month.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri’s primary target is Higuain, who he worked with during his time at Napoli.
The Argentine striker was in sensational goalscoring form under Sarri and the manager wants him to come to Stamford Bridge to solve his striker crisis.
England international Wilson has found the back of the net nine times in the Premier League this season and has registered five assists.
If the Blues sign Higuain or Wilson, then current forward Alvaro Morata is expected to move back to Spain with Sevilla heavily interested in signing him.
