Chelsea are ready to offer €45million (£40.2million) for Cagliari midfielder Nicolò Barella in the summer, according to an exclusive by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà.
The 21-year old Italy international is reportedly also a target for Napoli and Inter Milan, however Chelsea are looking to act early to beat competition for the highly rated starlet.
The Blues sought to move quickly with recent purchase Christian Pulisic in order to beat competition, and according to Pedullà, they plan to do the same with Barella.
Pedullà has also revealed that Cesc Fàbregas has recieved the green light from Maurizio Sarri to fly to France and complete a move to AS Monaco.

Fàbregas would link up with his former teammate Thierry Henry at Monaco, with the former Arsenal striker the current manager at the Stade Louis II.
