Chelsea have been left to sweat over the condition of striker Alvaro Morata.
The Spanish international was called on to lead the line in the Blues’ fixture against MOL Vidi in the Europa League on Thursday night.
With qualification through to the knockout rounds already secured, manager Maurizio Sarri rung the changes but handed the forward a chance to shine in Hungary.
Willian had opened the scoring for Chelsea but Vidi struck immediately afterwards as Ethan Ampadu netted an unfortunate own goal, with the teams then set to head into the half-time break on level terms.

However, the Blues were dealt a blow towards the end of the opening 45 minutes as Morata was forced to be substituted after sustaining what has been described as a ‘knock’.

Chelsea will be keen to learn the extent of their forward’s injury as they prepare for this weekend’s Premier League clash against Brighton and Hove Albion.
