Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has revealed that Maurizio Sarri’s reaction to losing against Wolves last week was “terrifying”, as reported on the Evening Standard.
The Blues fell to an unexpected defeat to Wolves last Wednesday night, which was only their second league defeat of the season.

Rudiger has revealed that Sarri was furious following the match and the German international said:
After the Wolves game, he (Sarri) was terrifying. He was going crazy. But that was okay because we shouldn’t have lost this match.
The day after [Sarri] was very calm and clear-minded. He spoke with us and made it clear that we have to believe in ourselves. He wanted us to go into the City game looking for the win.
We have to stay switched on in our heads. People will have seen us beat Manchester City and that is the standard we have set ourselves now.
We always have to try to bring this kind of performance, on the mental side and with the fighting spirit.
And that is exactly what the Blues did. They successfully frustrated Pep Guardiola’s free-flowing City side and came away with an impressive 2-0 victory thanks to goals from N’golo Kante and David Luiz.
