According to West London Sport, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants N’Golo Kante to start scoring more goals.
It was announced on Friday that the midfielder has signed a new five-year deal at the club, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2023.
This is only Kante’s fourth season in English football but he has perennially received plaudits for his displays.
The French midfielder was pivotal in Leicester’s surprise title win in 2016 and proceeded to earn himself a move to Chelsea, where he settled in greatly and won his second consecutive Premier League.

With two top-flight titles and a World Cup under his belt, there is no doubt that Kante has established himself as one of the world’s most coveted midfield players.
However, his boss Sarri wants him to improve just one more side of his game.
In a recent interview, the Italian manager said:
He’s very important for us in the defensive phase, but he’s improving in offensive movements and now he must improve in the last 20 or 25 metres. He can score more goals.
Kante has found the net just once this season and has also contributed with a single assist.
