Corinthians president Andres Sanchez has denied suggestions that the Brazilian outfit are in talks to sign Lucas Piazon from Chelsea.
According to reports emerging in Brazil, as cited on talkSPORT, Sanchez has distanced the club from rumours linking them with Chelsea’s forgotten man.
With the January window approaching, it had been claimed that Piazon was in talks with a number of clubs over a January exit.
Valencia, Derby and Corinthians have all been credited with an interest in the player.
Piazon is in the final months of his contract at Stamford Bridge and finally looks set to leave the club in January.
Chelsea appear happy to see the player leave on a permanent basis in January as they look to cut their ties with the Brazilian.
Piazon has failed to live up to expectation at Stamford Bridge and has been languishing behind the scenes for some time now.
