Thorgan Hazard has revealed that his brother Eden will not leave for Real Madrid during the January transfer.
Speaking about his brother’s future, he told Belgian newspaper HLN, as cited on the Express, that a move to Spain is not imminent.
Eden has been heavily linked with a move to join Real Madrid amid growing concerns that he would not sign a new deal at Chelsea.
The Blues are desperate to get him tied down to a new deal as soon as possible, with official talks expected to get underway in the not too distant future.
There have been some suggestions that Hazard could seal a move in January, with the Blues looking to cash in and not lose him on the cheap, but Thorgan plays down any suggestion of that happening.
I think Eden will see what happens at the end of the season. I know him. He’s not thinking about a move right now.
He will give everything for Chelsea. He doesn’t want a clash with his club either. If he ever leaves, he will play it correctly.
Hazard has been very keen to stay on good terms with both Chelsea and the club’s supporters, despite the concerns over his long-term future.
