Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has hinted that Callum Hudson-Odoi could play some part on Thursday night in the game against BATE.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, as reported by Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella, Sarri revealed some early team news and suggested there could be a place in the squad for the promising young winger.
The Italian head coach hailed the youngster for his performances during pre-seaosn, as the club turned down approaches from clubs to take the player on loan.

Sarri has previously spoken of his desire to give the player first-team minutes, but he has failed to make an appearance since the Community Shield at the start of the campaign.
The Italian will be hoping to give the player minutes where possible, with the player still undecided on whether or not to sign a new long-term deal at Stamford Bridge, with game time set to be the deciding factor.
Hudson-Odoi is highly rated at Chelsea and is already attracting interest from the likes of Monaco and Borussia Dortmund.
