Chelsea are reportedly keen to make a January move for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
According to claims from the Daily Mail, the Blues are keen to add a high-quality striker to their options in the mid-season transfer window, with Icardi and Genoa forward Krzysztof Piatek topping their wish list.
Icardi has been a pivotal member of Inter Milan’s starting line-up for several seasons now and it’s believed that the club are desperate to tie him down to a new contract.

The Argentina international’s current deal at San Siro contains a release clause which is set at £97.5 million. However, this clause does not activate until the end of the season, indicating that Chelsea may have to tempt Inter with a huge offer if they are to pursue Icardi.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the new season, netting four goals and chipping in with two assists in Serie A.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has rotated Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata throughout his first campaign in charge at Stamford Bridge but neither have provided a clear goal threat.
