Chelsea pair Lucas Piazon and Michael Hector have been lined up for loan moves to Sheffield Wednesday, according to a report from Goal.
The Blues are keen to trim their squad even further before the loan window slams shut at the end of the month and it seems Piazon and Hector are the latest players to be primed for exits.
Piazon has a vast experience of Championship football through previous loan spells and played a part for Fulham last term. The Brazilian’s efforts helped the Whites to secure promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
Hector, too, has been perennially loaned out by Chelsea following his arrival from Reading in 2015. He spent last term on loan at Hull City but now looks set to arrive at Sheffield Wednesday for the season ahead.
32 members of Chelsea’s squad have already completed temporary switches away from the club and it seems Piazon and Hector look set to join this list, with negotiations over a double loan move to the Owls currently ongoing.
