Real Madrid could make a last-ditch attempt to land Eden Hazard from Chelsea in the near future, according to the Mirror.
Los Blancos’ interest in signing Hazard from the Blues has been well documented throughout the summer transfer window and it seems they could make a final push to recruit him before the Spanish window slams shut at the end of August.
Hazard is a crucial player for Chelsea and it’s understood that the club are making significant efforts to tie him down to a lucrative new contract at Stamford Bridge.

However, Real are evidently attempting to convince Hazard of their determination to recruit him, with a late move from the Spanish club expected by the Mirror.
Chelsea have no intention to allow Hazard to depart in the near future and are, as aforementioned, keen to tie him down to an extended stay in London.
Despite this, though, the allure of a big-money move to Real Madrid could be too great to refuse for Hazard, who is understood to be holding off until he gets a feel for how Chelsea will progress under Maurizio Sarri’s stewardship.
