Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has insisted that he has faith that Alvaro Morata will regain his confidence and form this season.
The Spain international has endured a difficult year up until now. He’s netted only one Premier League goal since the turn of the year after beginning life in England in red-hot form.
Morata has come in for criticism in recent months following his misfiring form, but new Chelsea boss Sarri is not concerned about the striker’s capabilities in front of goal.

As quoted by the Independent, Sarri was quick to defend Morata’s ability while also admitting that he is struggling with confidence issues.
I am not worried about Morata. Morata is a very great player. I think that, in this moment, he needs only to gain confidence. But he is a great player. He needs to score. As all the strikers in the world do, I think. He needs to gain confidence, but he’s improving so I’m not really worried about him.
Morata started in Chelsea’s comprehensive 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town last weekend as the Blues got off to the perfect start to the new Premier League season.
The former Real Madrid star is expected to get the nod up front once again when his Chelsea side welcome Arsenal to Stamford Bridge.
