Chelsea have announced the squad numbers of new signings Mateo Kovacic and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
According to the club’s official website, Arrizabalaga will wear the number one jersey at Stamford Bridge whilst Kovacic will sport the number 17 in his year in West London.

The loss of Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid was expected by many at Chelsea, and as such the club pounced to trigger the release clause of the 23-year-old Arrizabalaga.
A mammoth £71.6 million set the world record for a transfer fee paid for a goalkeeper, and the former Athletic Bilbao man arrives in the capital with a considerable weight of expectation pressing down on him.
Kovacic joins on loan from Real Madrid, coming the other way as part of the deal that saw Courtois head to Spain.
The Croat will compete for playing time with N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Cesc Fabregas, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Danny Drinkwater, and Ross Barkley.
