Chelsea have officially sent Kurt Zouma out on a season-long loan deal to Everton, the Toffees have confirmed.
The central defender joins the club as their final signing of the summer transfer window, which ended in hectic fashion for Marco Silva’s side.
Chelsea are well-stocked with defensive reinforcements and, evidently, Maurizio Sarri felt it was the right call to allow Zouma to depart Stamford Bridge on loan for the second consecutive season.

Zouma spent the duration of last season on loan at Stoke City but was unable to prevent the club from succumbing to relegation from the Premier League.
Nevertheless, Zouma will be desperate to find his feet again as he prepares for the upcoming season at Everton after enduring a difficult past couple of years, hindered by injury troubles.
Chelsea will now be turning their full attention to their season-opening fixture against Huddersfield Town.
