Maurizio Sarri is eyeing Roma goalkeeper Alisson as his dream signing, according to the Daily Star.
The report claims that Sarri’s ideal replacement for Thibaut Courtois would be Brazil’s number one.
Alisson is currently playing in the World Cup this summer in Russia for Brazil, where he has started their opening two games of the competition.
The shot-stopper has been heavily-linked with Liverpool and Real Madrid over the past few months.
Real Madrid are thought to be the front-runners at this moment in time, but Chelsea could swoop in to agree a deal.
Courtois’ future at Chelsea remains uncertain, with one year left on his current contract with the club.
The Belgian, like Alisson, has been touted with a switch to Real Madrid to move closer to his family in Spain.
Sarri is expected to be unveiled as Chelsea’s new manager next week, with Antonio Conte set to leave the club.
