Morata refuses to commit future to Chelsea as interest grows

Alvaro Morata has refused to commit his future to Chelsea, as interest from AC Milan and Atletico Madrid builds.

AC Milan are said to be waiting on a green light from UEFA over their finances before they make their move for the out-of-sorts Spaniard.

The 25-year-old made the move to West London from Real Madrid last summer for a fee of £60 million, and struggled mightily in his first season in the Premier League.

Despite still hitting the net fifteen times, discussions are already swirling as to the future of Morata’s career.

In addition to the reports linking him to AC Milan, other whispering has suggested a return to Juventus (where he spent two years, between 2014 and 2016) could be a possibility.

Furthermore, a transfer to Atletico Madrid has also been floated to the forward himself in an interview.

Morata was non-committal as to his future when he spoke recently to Sport Mediaset:

For now I do not know anything about my future at Chelsea or Atletico. At this moment I’m thinking only of holidays.
